Soffit Board Intumescent Ventilators

Description

Envirograf® soffit board ventilators are made in many shapes and sizes. The vents fit into existing vent openings and seal up in a fire, stopping flames and hot gases reaching any loft area. An important precaution in case of fire in the lower rooms of a building, where the windows have blown out or been left open. Otherwise flames could burn through plastic soffit vents and catch the felt alight — spreading fire to loft rooms being used as bedrooms or playrooms. Essential for loft conversions.

FIRE TEST PERFORMANCE

Tested to BS476 Part 22 (1987), achieving an integrity of 66 minutes.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

Rectangular grille – push recess into opening in soffit board and secure in place. Available 72mm x 215mm overall to suit 47mm x 215mm opening. (Other sizes can be made to suit – prices on request)

Circular grille – push recess into opening in soffit board. Available 82mm diameter overall to suit 68mm hole diameter (Other sizes can be made to suit – prices on request).
