Description
Circular intumescent non-clogging ventilator sleeve for walls and ceilings with 87% free area. Can be easily installed in about four minutes. They are used in steel or PVC pipes, which connect to toilet ventilation fans. In sizes from 50mm to 600mm diameter. For domestic and industrial use. Ventilated sleeves can be used for PVC or steel pipes in a wall, for suspended or plasterboard ceilings and ducting, with fixing lugs, screws and washers, and for cavity walls.
ADVANTAGES
- For use where toilet ventilation fans are fitted onto fire rated ceilings or walls, providing up to 2 hours protection- Simple installation, allowing the pipe to be slid down onto the unit
- Will last a lifetime in-situ and will not degrade or deteriorate
FIRE TEST PERFORMANCE
Firoblok Sleeve tested to BS476 Part 21 (1987), achieving an integrity of 90 minutes.
CLVM Clipper tested BS476 Parts 20 and 22 (1987), achieving an integrity of 120 minutes.
APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
Peel off the backing paper to reveal the self-adhesive strip on the back of the LV intumescent liner. Push the LV liner inside the pipe, leave 30mm clear for the ventilation grille to be inserted if necessary. Press on the LV liner to fix in position using theb self-adhesive strip. Any overlap can be trimmed using a sharp knife. Affix the protection label adjacent to the protected service.
