Description

An aluminium holder with intumescent fire/smoke seal, fitted into rebated fire doors and frames.

ES/SM30: 30 minutes fire rated version, comprising a 7mm deep x 9mm wide x 2200mm long aluminium holder with choice of brush, straight seal. The brush smoke seals are available in white, black, brown or grey and 5mm, 7mm, or 10mm in length. The straight rubber blade 4mm or 7mm long.

ES/SM60: 60 minute fire rated version comprising a 6mm deep x 20mm wide x 2200mm long aluminium holder with intumescent facing in aluminium with grey brush, white/white brush, black/ black brush, brown/brown brush or red/grey brush colours. Brush and blade sizes are as above.

ES/SM60/P: Plastic holder with intumescent 7mm deep x 20mm wide x 2200 long in aluminium, white, black, brown or red colours. For fitting into rebate opposite the ES/SM60, providing increased protection and sealing efficiency.

 

ADVANTAGES

FIRE TEST PERFORMANCE

The aluminium holder houses Envirograf® Product 100, which has been tested to:

BS476 Part 22 (1987), achieving both 30 and 60 minutes integrity.

BS476 Part 23 (1987), achieving 69 minutes integrity.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

ES/SM60: Fit the aluminium profile into the rebate and fix with the nails supplied. Peel off the backing strip from the intumescent finishing piece and adhere is to the aluminium holder, thus hiding the heads of the fixing nails.

ES/SM60/P AND ES/SM30: peel off the backing strip from the profile and adhere into the rebate.

Important: The brush seal length must be between 1 – 1.5mm longer than the door gap between frame or adjacent double door.
