Description
An intumescent putty, colour may vary, applied like normal putty. It can be painted over. Will stay flexible internally. Not affected by moisture. Ideal for use around copper pipes and cables, and around steel electrical trunking. Used for filling in small holes and joints up to 50mm wide. Available in 310m1 tubes and in tubs.
ADVANTAGES
- Ideal for filling round metal pipes and cables where they penetrate a range of substrates- If using round glass in steel frame the putty must be painted over to seal surface
- Can be used to face PVE/A Foam (Product 44) to provide additional fire protection
FIRE TEST PERFORMANCE
Tested to BS746 Part 22 (1987), achieving integrity of 97 minutes.
