Description
A 2mm thick intumescent strip applied with double-sided tape to place under hardwood lipping on doors. The strip is fitted to the underlipping on either the door or the frame. Tested to BS476: Part 22: 1987. Supplied in 10m Rolls.
ADVANTAGES
- Intumescent material is protected from damage as it is fitted underneath the door edging
- Intumescent will expand in a fire, pushing the door edging outwards and sealing the gaps around the door on all sides
FIRE TEST PERFORMANCE
Tested to BS476 Part 22 (1987), achieving an integrity of up to 60 minutes.
APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
Peel off backing paper and apply strip to underside of the hardwood lip on the edges of the door.
