Description
To ensure that current building regulations are adhered to, fire protection within a loft space must be designed to accommodate any pre-existing resident bat population. It can be a rather difficult problem in balancing the human needs with the needs bats. However, the bats must be able to fly from one compartment to another in the loft space, but the openings seal only on an extreme rise in temperature. A thermal link in this product governs the closure of the aperture when the temperature reaches a critical point.
