Acoustic Sponge Resilient Strips

Description

Impact sound protection between floorboards and joists has been a considerable headache and costly problem to solve, until now. The suggested 25mm mineral fibre density strip offering 60-100kg/m³ has been a way of dealing with the problem of sound. Envirograf® Acoustic Resilient Strips (ARS) are only 9mm thick and 10mm wide with a double-sided tape backing and when used side by side on top of the joists, they offer a vastly improved density of 180kg/m³. New-type Envirograf® Acoustic Resilient Strips (ARD) are only 10mm thick and 50mm wide with a double sided tape backing, offering improved acoustic performance compared to the original ARS strips.

ADVANTAGES

• Fitted with a self-adhesive backing to facilitate quick and easy installation
• Due to reduced thickness, takes up considerably less space than the industry-suggested 25mm mineral fibre strip, whilst offering vastly improved density and therefore sound reduction
